First of all, thank you for the feedback you gave on the last post. I would ask that you do the same for this one.
At the beginning of September I’ll be planning all the sermons for our church for 2010. What would you like to hear me preach about during 2010? I prefer three to four sermon series on subjects that require Biblical truth to be helpful and pretty readily lean toward the how to (instead of merely an idea or a concept). In other words, I like to try to answer the question: How will this sermon help someone live life better? You don’t have to sign your suggestion, but it is a huge help to me to be able to contact you, if need be, on stuff like this. For me, conversation beats e-mail where I need to try to understand your idea more clearly. So if you could give me the easiest phone number at which I can reach you, it might help me help the church. Thanx.

I still remember you preaching all the way through Revelation on Sunday nights! Even us in the youth ministry made a point to be there on Sunday night to hear what came next. I don’t know how conducive it is for a Sunday Morning sermon, but I’d love to see you walk through a New Testament letter verse by verse.
I’d also be interested in a “sermon” on studying the bible. I know there are a number of people who do not attend Sunday school or any other “bible study” for that matter along with tons of new christians and even youth and college students that are trying to scratch the surface of the bible, but are overwhelmed. Some practical ways that you have found useful might come in handy. It might also be cool to call on some of the other staff members or church members to share ideas, methods and experiences. I feel that this would not only help the new in Christ, but the old in Christ could find some refreshement too!
I’ll keep thinking… I’ll also ask some of the youth!
